GCC FOUNDATION GOLF CLASSIC FRIDAY, JUNE 11
Gloucester County golfers will be teeing off for a good cause on Friday, June 11, when the Gloucester County College Foundation holds its annual golf outing at the Pitman Country Club.
The day’s program will include 18 holes of golf, prizes at each of the par-three holes, awards for the longest drive and the opportunity for hole-in-one valuable winnings. Proceeds from the fundraiser are earmarked for student activities, scholarships and college athletics.
The $110 per person charge will include greens and cart fees, a snack, prizes and a buffet dinner following golf. All registered golfers will receive a shirt and other giveaways. For those who want to attend the dinner only, the cost is $50.
Registration will take place from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The shotgun start will be at 12:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m.
Co-chairs of the event are Ron Case, Larry DiVietro and Ray Page. Case is GCC’s athletic director and the dean of health, physical education and recreation. Larry DiVietro, of Lands Dimensions Engineering in Glassboro, is a member of the GCC Foundation. Ray Page is the golf-tournament coordinator and serves as the College’s development assistant.
